One after another, gentle water caress will make round, polished rocks from sharp, broken pieces. These will turn to pebbles, which dance together and erode themselves to sand. Waves will pull the sand to the bottom, layer upon layer, each new one pressing upon the previous. And then the heat in the deep darkness will fuse the sand into new rock. When the Earth moves in its sleep, maybe this rock will arise to the surface and be exposed to Air, Water and Fire again. And the process will begin anew. Just add Time.
