The hooded crow is a Eurasian bird species in the Corvus genus. Widely distributed, it is also known locally as Scotch crow and Danish crow. In Ireland it is called carog liath or grey crow, just as in the Slavic languages and in Danish. (Wikipedia)

I was lucky. The crow left without leaving talon marks, and also no other kind of subscript...

My sisters pet crow enjoyed solving problems, like mysteriously opening the cage door just to remain inside, or stealing my keyring just to take it apart. I used fishing spinner snaps for individual keys, but the crow easily opened those, obviously having fun doing it.

The crow spent quite some time looking at the surface, and appeared just as if enjoying what it was seeing. Makes me wonder if it is capable of estethic thought?

All kinds of local birds, big and small, gather shed hair of our doggies and use it to pad their nests with it! It is one welcome and useful action, showing how Nature never produces anything useless. If only the same could be said for humans...

The crow has caught a caterpillar on the beach below, but then decided to eat it up there, in the tree. Funny custom...

A view of Otesevo beach, at Lake Prespa, Macedonia. Separated from Lake Ohrid by the mountain Galicica, it is only 9 kilometers from it (as the crow flies). The waters of higher-placed Prespa filter through the carstic mountain to re-appear as rich, beautiful springs at Ohrids southern end. Nice area to see and to photograph!

As my dad and I were birding at Two Ponds NWR in Arvada, CO, we saw a pair of American Crows harassing a Red-tailed Hawk. As they flew overhead, I quickly snapped a photo not expecting to get anything good. To my surprise, this is the resulting photo.

This thrown – away tit bit must have been really appetizing to make this crow leave his friends circle for a quick nibble.

The huge shepherd and the crow are good friends since the day the crow had fallen out of the nest. The crow, raised by my sister, became as tame as a chicken. Later on, he flew away with his kind.
